City drew for the second consecutive week when Blackburn Rovers capped a comeback from two down with a late penalty.
Goals from Kieran Kennedy and Joan Angel Roman had put the Under 18s into a comfortable lead, but a spirited fightback from the hosts culminated in the spot-kick that saw the spoils shred.
There was better news from the Under 16s, who beat their counterparts from Blackburn 3-0, with all three goals coming from Devante Cole.
