A solitary strike from Joan Angel Roman was enough to give City's Under 18 side a win away to Stoke on Friday.

Joan struck with a fine individual goal before half time in the first game the Academy side had played since the 11-goal thriller against Oldham in the FA Youth Cup on 15th December.

The young Blues are back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to the east Midlands to face Nottingham Forest in the fourth round of the cup. Kick off at the City Ground is at 7pm, admission is £3 for adults, £1 for juniors and any support for the lads would be gratefully appreciated.
