A momentous day as Carlos Tevez leaves Manchester United behind to sign for City. 

The Argentine pens a five-year deal and City pay a reported £25.5m to release Tevez from his complex ownership deal and become sole owners of the player.

Spearheading the City attack, Carlos quickly becomes a fan favourite at the Etihad, a status severely dented when a dispute with the club leads him to miss much of the 2011/12 campaign.

Returning to play towards the end of the 2011/12 season, Carlos scores a number of important goals as City claim their first title in 44 years.
