Mel Machin presides over his last game as City boss as he watches his team crushed 6-0 by Derby County at The Baseball Ground. On a horrendous night for the Blues, the Rams take their chances clinically to move from second bottom to mid-table while City drop to third off the foot of the table. Peter Swales has seen enough and despite it being less than three weeks since City beat United 5-1, Machin’s departure is announced the following day...
