On this day in 1972, two of the heroes of the '99 Play-off Final were born.

As the scorers of arguably the two most important goals in the club's history, what better way than invoke all the memories and drama of 30th May 1999 than celebrating the joint 40th birthdays of Kevin Horlock and Paul Dickov.

So, here we go again...

Following his successful spell at City, Horlock went on to have stints at West Ham, Ipswich, Doncaster and Scunthorpe amongst others. Dickov is currently in charge of League One side Oldham Athletic, taking charge at Boundary Park back in June 2010.
