Events, moments and matches from this day in City's history...
Thursday 30 September 2010
Adam Johnson’s low drive earns City a Europa League point at home to Juventus. The Old Lady had taken a surprise lead but ultimately were happy to settle for a draw – the Turin side incredibly drew all six of their group matches, crashing out of the competition as a result. The Blues would draw the return game in Turin by the same score with Jo bagging City’s goal in front of a pitiful 6,000 crowd.
Saturday 30 September 2006
Micah Richards’ penchant for injury time equalisers strikes again as his spectacular shot crashes past Tim Howard with the last kick of the game away to Everton. It’s a draw City barely deserve but earns a welcome point for the Blues who had been second best for much of the game – not that anybody from the blue half of Manchester was complaining!
