The powerfully-built frontman already has 15 international appearances and two goals under his belt, and previously played at Under 20 and Under 17 level for Los Tricolores. He featured for Ecuador in last year's Copa America after bagging seven goals in his first season in Switzerland following his transfer from Rocafuerte FC.

Twelve league starts this season have seen the young frontman score four goals for the team managed by former Tottenham boss Christian Gross, who are currently top of the table in the Swiss Super League.
