City skipper Richard Dunne says that Sunday’s win at Old Trafford was the highlight of his City career.
In an exclusive interview with MCFCTV.com, Richard has also reflected on the atmosphere around the City camp before and after our first away derby victory in 34 years.
“I think it was the best moment of my City career so far,” declares Richard. “It was such a great occasion and for us to perform as we did on the day, and to take the three points was the best of everything.
“There was confidence in the dressing room beforehand, there was no wildness or people getting aggressively pumped-up, we were just confident that we were going to perform.
“We felt were going to play well, and we could hear our fans singing even when we warmed up. They kept at it for the whole game and they more than anything kept us going.
“Afterwards, everyone was on a high. A win for City at Old Trafford is a rare thing so to be a part of it was amazing.”
