Manchester City can confirm that Ched Evans has today joined Sheffield United on a permanent deal for a fee rising to £3million. There is a sell on clause in the agreement.

The 20-year-old Wales international, who came through the Academy ranks, made five league and cup starts for the Blues last season having previously spent a hugely successful campaign on loan at Norwich City.
