Our City stars are the best, says Kidd

Brian Kidd insists that he wouldn't swap any of City's current heroes for one of the Barclays Premier League's other big guns.
The Blues are joint top of the table going into the New Year's Day visit by Blackpool following impressive holiday victories over Newcastle and Aston Villa to recover from the home defeat by Everton.
And Roberto Mancini's right-hand man declared: "I wouldn't swap our squad now for anybody in the Premier League, to be honest. I wouldn't swap any of our lads for anybody else in the top four or five. They're going quite well.
"Our target has always been a top-four place from the start of the season. We're doing OK on that, but nobody's getting carried away, not the boss or the players. We know there's a lot of hard work still to come.
"He demands that we work hard and always look to improve - and we know, like him, that we're not the finished article even though we are going quite well. He won't rest on his laurels and think things are going OK."
Kidd is predicting a thrilling second half to the season, with City chasing Europa League honours as well as Premier League glory, and believes the players understand that some will have to sit out big games.
He said: "Hopefully there's some exciting times ahead for Manchester City, with a little bit of luck. And with the top teams, unfortunately for players, there is a rotation system with the amount of games that you play.
When teams are going for the Champions League you get to the stage where you prioritise, and you rotate players
"If you're going to become a top club, you're never going to be able to play the same 11, 12, 13 players every week. That's a demand. We've seen it with the last two games in three days."
Mancini rested several players from the 3-1 win at Newcastle and was rewarded with the 4-0 romp against Villa.
Kidd added: "We've had a nice response after the Everton game, with Newcastle and Villa. That was a great response. But it's inevitable there's going to be a rotation.
Somebody's going to be left out, but in the New Year there's going to be big, important games and if I was one of our players, I'd want to be a part of them."
