Nigel de Jong was quick to heap praise on Holland's World Cup "weapon" after his determined Dutch side booked an intriguing quarter-final against Robinho's Brazil.
Blues midfielder and fans' favourite De Jong has tackled his way through his usual solid role in the Netherlands' progress to the last eight in South Africa.
But Nigel is swift to hail winger Arjen Robben for his starring role in the 2-1 victory over Vladi Weiss's Slovakia that earned Friday's showdown with the Brazilians.
The former Chelsea man opened the scoring after 18 minutes with a clever cut inside and low shot from outside the area, then helped set up a second for Wesley Sneijder.
De Jong said: "Robben is our weapon - he is a super player. He can decide games, like a lot of our players, even those on the bench. You could see what he is able to do.
"There is not just talk about him, everybody can see what speed he has. If you’ve got so much tempo and quality, you know that you can help to win the game."
It's Robinho and his pals next after City's record signing sparkled - and contributed an impressive strike - in a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Chile at Ellis Park.
Man of the match Robi said: "I’m pleased to have got on the scoresheet but I’m even happier about the victory. I’ve always done well against Chile - thankfully this was no different.
"Now we’ve got another decisive match ahead. There is always room for improvement, but I think we’re on the right track and we’re achieving our objectives."
