Two of City’s most promising Academy stars are aiming to help England Under-17s secure the victory that will take them to the next phase of the Under-17 World Cup this Thursday.
Alex Henshall and George Evans were both unused subs against Rwanda earlier this week as England won 2-0 but Henshall, with 14 caps to date, is regarded as one of the best players in his age group and will be hoping to play against Canada in the next game.
Midfielder Evans has won three caps so far and he will also be hoping to see some action against the Canadians with the final group game against leaders Uruguay still to come at the weekend.
The tournament comprises of 24 teams and is being held in Mexico with the final in Mexico City on July 10.
