Carrington in pics: Stars in their eyes

After a quiet few days at Carrington, those not involved in international football returned to work after a rejuvinating few days' rest.
Carlos Tevez was one of the first in work and he practiced his entrance for the cheesy TV show Stars in their Eyes by climbing the stairs and announcing, "Tonight, Matthew, I'm going to be...." Cue dry ice and bright lights...
Sadly, photographer Sharon Latham's camera shutter jammed as Carlitos appeared through the magic door dressed as Lady Gaga. Ah, well. Maybe she'll have better luck when Adam Johnson does his Ian Curtis rendition of Love Will Tear Us Apart - which is what we hope he'll do to the Sunderland defence on Sunday. Meanwhile, Mario Balotelli catches up with the latest Jeremy Kyle offering on TV. This episode was entitled 'My Sister's Brother is my Aunties Uncle' and after a minute, Mario decided to give it a wide berth.
While the argument to re-introduce terracing to English football rages, Scott Kay imagines what it must have been like standing at grounds while Freddie Veseli gets on with his weights. It must have worked, too, because Scott asked head chef Shaun for a Bovril and a pie for his lunch... ask your dad, kids!
Fresh from his canteen performance earlier on, skipper Carlos appears to be enjoying a McDonalds thick shake as a reward from Sharon. The accompanying Happy Meal is just out of shot...
Sticking with the impressions theme, the kit team appear to be having their own impromptu session. Kit man Steve Aziz (far left) appears to be doing seventies detective Columbo as he utters the line, "Er... there's just one more thing..." Brandon is doing a cross between Norman Wisdom and Lee Evans while two Umbro guys call to see if Chappy can play out. "I'm 'avin me tea," he responds.
