Carrington in pics: Ghost town

With the sun beaming down and the majority of first team players away on international duty it was a rare day off for the rest of the squad and many of the staff at Carrington today.
But not everyone was out enjoying the weather...
Club cat Wimblydon doesn't know the meaning of a day off. "It's 365, 24/7," he said in an exclusive interview for this month's Paws and Rewind magazine. "Mice don't know a day off from a piece of cheese. It's infuriating."
Honestly, he's gone so big time of late.
One place there was plenty of activity was the medical department where physios Paul Webster (far left) and Rob Sadler were tending the walking wounded. In for treatment today were Abdul Razak, Tom Smith and Ahmad Benali - and no, Rob isn't nail-varnishing Ahmad's toenails.
In the recreation area, it was great to see Greg Cunningham looking mobile and obviously making great strides forward after the broken leg he sustained while on loan at Leicester. Greg is reading a letter from a fan, so if you ever wondered whether the lads read your mail or not, here's conclusive proof.
Inside the gaffer's office, not a thing stirred - though when you first walk in and glance behind his desk, it looks as though Roberto is looking in through a window with his matchday attire on - and several thousand City fans behind him. Some times your mind plays tricks...
No, today was definitely a day to be outdoors and with that in mind, ground staff member Daniel Lewis probably had the best job of the lot out of today's skeleton staff. Not sure why he's wearing Mickey Mouse ears, though....
