City will have to overcome Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium if they are to progress past the Carling Cup quarter-finals.

In a game bound to attract plenty of interest, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy will return to their old club for the first time - if selected to play!

City and the Gunners have ment seven times in the League Cup in total with the Gunners winning five, drawing one and losing one, though the Blues won the last meeting 3-0 in 2009 to end the North Londoners' dominance and earn a semi-final spot.

The Blues will also have to overcome an amazing jinx away to Arsenal which has seen no wins at all in 36 years!

The full line-up of ties, to be played week commencing 28 November, is as follows:

Arsenal v City

Chelsea v Liverpool

United v Crystal Palace

Cardiff v Blackburn Rovers
