City's latest recruit has been summoned for matches against Azerbaijan and Norway.
Rodwell has been called up by Stuart Pearce for the matches which will take place in Baku on Thursday 6 September, and Chesterfield on Monday 10 September, respectively.
The midfielder has been capped twice at senior level and was called up for the recent friendly victory over Italy, although he didn't play.
Jack has received 20 England U21 caps, his latest arriving in October 2011 against Iceland.
Meanwhile, U17 internationals Ashley Smith-Brown and Kean Bryan will be visited by England manager Roy Hodgson on Wednesday, before taking on Italy at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium as part of the St George's Park Tournament.
It's a competition that marks the opening of the new St George's Park training complex which was constructed by the FA to be a base for England squads, from first-team all the way down to youth levels.
Goalkeeper Angus Gunn was also called up but unfortunately misses out due to a hip injury.
Everyone at the club would like to wish Ashley and Kean all the best for the three matches and we'll keep you up to date with how they get on.
