It’s finally here. Happy Euro 2012 Day from all here at Manchester City. Strap yourselves in for three weeks of high-octane, nerve-shredding football action from Poland and Ukraine.
Your work sweepstakes should have been drawn, your fridges should be fully stocked with something cold and the pizza delivery menu should be close at hand for this, the 14th European Championship finals.
We have eight players out there at the tournament and if you’ve missed any of our Euro 2012 previews, there’s still time to evaluate the prospects of our boys in blue in our “spotlight on...” series.
We’ve also put every team under the microscope in a bid to arm you with as much information as possible on the teams that will contest this hotly-anticipated competition.
Tonight, Greece will take on co-hosts Poland and Russia will face Czech Republic in Group A before the tournament really heats up tomorrow, with Denmark v Netherlands and Germany v Portugal.
