City captain Vincent Kompany catches up with CityTV in Beijing on the first leg of his South Asian tour.
Vincent Kompany has arrived in Beijing on the first leg of his tour of South Asia and CityTV have been chatting to City’s skipper to find out exactly what’s been up to.
Along with running the rule over the plans for the first team’s pre-season tour in the region, including City’s friendly at the Birds Nest Stadium against Arsenal, Vincent has met with local journalists to give his reflections on City’s title win.
“All of us need to work harder to retain the title. We can’t stop with just winning the Premier League title. We want to win other competitions and the Champions League,” said the 26-year old.
There was also time for him to cast his eye over some of the young local footballing talent and the Belgian admits that he was “pleasantly surprised” by the standard of the youngsters who will be looking to follow in his footsteps by one day holding the Premier League trophy aloft.
Join us next time for Day 2 of Vincent’s tour diary.
