City return to FA Cup action with a trip to Chelsea on Sunday.
Ahead of the clash, we analyse how strikers Kelechi Iheanacho and Loic Remy have fared so far this season.
Who prevails with the best stats...?
Iheanacho has featured 21 times for City this season with 15 of those appearances coming from the bench. Remy has featured in five games fewer, having played 16 times, including 12 substitute appearances.
Iheanacho - one of the bright sparks of the Blues' season - has impressed with clinical finishing and the composure of a man beyond his years, and he's way ahead of the Chelsea man in this category.
Remy has only netted only three goals and will be looking to add to his tally before the end of the season - but hopefully not on Sunday!
Goals per game ratio:
As Kelechi has played more games, his Premier League goals per game ratio is lower than Remy's, though it reads much better in the FA Cup following four goals in two appearances.
Goals inside the box:
Each of the strikers' goals have been executed inside the box. Their predatory instinct is one of their major assets.
The City man takes the spoils in this field with far superior stats in Premier League fixtures alone.
In the modern game, strikers are immersed in more phases of the match and being consistent with passes is key. Remy triumphs the City starlet with his passing ability.
Of course, scoring goals is the main task for a striker but if they can chip in with an assist, it's a win-win situation. Iheanacho has one assist to his name and therefore edges the Chelsea man, who is yet to register one.
Iheanacho has been lively and productive in each of his appearances, having created 12 chances in the Premier League - a fine return for the Nigerian and ten more than his Chelsea counterpart.
Both players have had differing seasons. Iheanacho has certainly shown his potential in his breakthrough season, while Remy has so far struggled to play at the level the footballing world are accustomed to seeing from the Frenchman.
Hopefully it will be City's young star who adds to his tally in the clash at Stamford Bridge this Sunday!
