City duo give their thoughts on City’s 0-0 draw with Dynamo Kyiv in Round of 16 second leg…
Otamendi was brought off with an injury in the first half, but is hopeful of a quick return to action.
He said: “It was something similar to a quadriceps paralysis, I may review that tomorrow but the knock was so deep I couldn’t keep playing and decided to leave my place to a teammate.
“I’ll have a medical review tomorrow. I hope everything is fine and I could be called up by Argentina.”
Speaking about City’s progression to the last eight, Nicolas commented: “I’m happy because we accomplished our goal and got through to the next round.
Midfielder Navas also spoke of his delight of reaching the quarter final of the Champions League.
He told mcfc.co.uk: “Well, we had to step forward into the quarter final. We are very happy and we must continue forward.
“We just focus on ourselves now rather than anyone else, in going forward and trying to get to the next round.
Navas continued: “The important thing is that we got through and we have to about the derby now. We’ll see who are drawn with on Friday and go from there.”
