Bayern set to be another big night

The Champions League countdown is on, and the buzz is that Bayern Munich is shaping up to be one of the biggest games of the season.

Germany's giants lead the qualifying group but they still have to face 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium on 7 December in what promises to be a highlight to match the Hamburg night.

Nobody who watched that European classic will ever forget the passionate atmosphere - least of all the beaten Hamburg stars who admitted later they were stunned by City's support.

City lost 2-0 in the Allianz Arena back in September but the Blues are right back in the battle to reach the knockout stages thanks to Sergio Aguero's winner against Villarreal and that cracking win in Spain.

Roberto Mancini's men have a key clash at Napoli first, but Bayern's visit next month promises to be a night to remember for all those who are there.

Gold and Platinum members who are NOT in the Champions League Cup scheme can buy their tickets from today, 11 November. Prices are adults £35, 16-21s/over-65s £20, under-16s £10.

If the supporter number used is that of an adult, then only an adult ticket may be purchased. This also applies to under-16s and over-65s.

Tickets will be available online at mcfc.co.uk/tickets, by telephone on 0161 444 1894 option 1* and to personal callers at the ticket office above the City Store at the Etihad Stadium.

*There is a £2.50 booking fee per ticket on all telephone bookings.
