Tickets for City’s mouth-watering encounter against current FA Cup winners Arsenal in the FA Community Shield are set to go on general sale to supporters with existing purchase history* at 9am on Tuesday 22nd July 2014.

2014/15 Seasoncard holders will also be able to purchase up to 4 additional tickets for their friends and family members.

The traditional curtain raiser for the new season, on Sunday 10 August, kick off 3pm, looks set to be a thrilling clash between City and the Gunners - the two title rivals will be looking for early psychological advantage and to hit the ground running in 2014/15 at a packed-out Wembley Stadium.

Four categories of match ticket are available to purchase, priced as follows:

Subject to availability, tickets can be purchased online at or by telephone on 0161 444 1894 (option 1, option 1, option 2)** by supporters who meet the following criteria. 

  • 2014/15 Platinum/Gold Seasoncard holders with 8,750 or more loyalty points – Monday 14th July at 9am
  • 2014/15 Platinum/Gold Seasoncard holders with 7,000 or more loyalty points – Tuesday 15th July at 9am
  • 2014/15 Platinum/Gold Seasoncard holders with 5,500 or more loyalty points – Wednesday 16th July at 9am
  • 2014/15 Platinum/Gold Seasoncard holders with 4,250 or more loyalty points – Thursday 17th July at 9am
  • 2014/15 Platinum/Gold Seasoncard holders with 2,500 or more loyalty points – Friday 18th July at 9am
  • Any 2014/15 Platinum/Gold Seasoncard holders – Saturday 19th July at 9am
  • Any 2013/14 Blue Members – Monday 21st July at 9am
  • General Sale – Tuesday 22nd July at 9am 

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets will not be available to purchase or collect*** ‘in person’ at the Stadium Ticket Office for this match.

*To qualify to purchase tickets during the General Sale period, supporters must have purchased a match ticket for a game at the Etihad Stadium during any previous season.

**Tickets purchased over the telephone will be subject to a £2.50 booking fee per ticket and all tickets will be despatched via Royal Mail 1st Class post, and sent to the registered address of the purchasing supporter. Phone lines are open 24-hours, 7 days a week. No booking fee payable on tickets purchased online.

***With the exception of disabled wheelchair/ambulant supporters who will be able to purchase and collect from the Ticket Office.

Tickets for this match are sold subject to the acceptance of The Football League ‘Conditions of Issue’ (available upon request). All tickets are sold subject to availability and are issued subject to Manchester City Football Club Limited’s 2014-15 terms and conditions of sale, and the applicable Ground Regulations of Wembley Stadium.
