Money, the root of all evil for some, is at the heart of many of the City-related stories.
According to the papers, several of City's top brass are in Abu Dhabi for talks over our immediate spending plans.
As you might imagine there is huge conjecture over this, so we'll handily link to the Sun, the Mail and the Guardian's stories so you can judge for yourselves over what they say. Needless to say, there's speculation to spare!
The impending UEFA Financial Fair Play rules loom large in many discussions over money in football, and the Guardian's David Conn puts them under the spotlight today. The writer has given City a fair crack of the whip in recent years and his article, which inevitably mentions us, is well worth a read.
And even the Daily Star gets in on the act, reporting that City have come second (behind Blackburn) in a value-for-money survey of Premier League clubs. It goes off price of tickets against points gained, so chuck in the FA Cup win and there can be little doubt we top the charts when it comes to the old VFM!
