It takes some digging around to find your Blues news this morning, after a busy Asian tour things seem to have gone very quiet.
There are a few stories worthy of note however; starting with claims that Slovakian winger Vladimir Weiss will be loaned out to Italian side Pescara.
The 22 –year-old has already spent time at Bolton, Rangers and Espanyol and The Mail reports he is now on his way to the newly promoted Serie A outfit.
The paper claims the move will be confirmed sometime this week and remember we will be the first to let you know.
Meanwhile, football website ClubCall claims Roberto Mancini has laid down the gauntlet for Adam Johnson.
The site reports the Blues boss has challenged the winger to play to the best of his ability and fight for a spot in City’s starting 11.
"Adam is in my plans," Mancini said.
"Some players think that when they don't play, it's the boss' fault. I think he has to be playing for a top club but he's got to play at his top level."
In Olympic news, it’s all looking very positive for Micah Richards and Team GB as they progressed to the quarter final stage.
It follows a 1-0 win over Luis Suárez’s Uruguay side at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff last night.
Team GB will now go on to face either Mexico or South Korea in the semis.
