I suggest you put aside a couple of hours this morning if you are planning on catching up on your Blues news.

As well as the usual post-match analysis, there is a healthy selection of City stories for you to pore over this Sunday morning; in the meantime, I’ll get you started.

The Mail on Sunday carry a story claiming AC Milan are preparing to make a £20 million bid for striker Mario Balotelli in next month’s transfer window – against the wishes of Roberto Mancini.

“Interim president Adriano Galliani has been ordered by Milan owner and Balotelli fan, Silvio Berlusconi, to take the former Inter Milan star back to San Siro and he plans to negotiate directly with City’s Abu Dhabi owners and the player’s agent, Mino Raiola,”reports the paper’s Mark Ryan.

“That leaves Mancini out in the cold after he has repeatedly stated that he wants the troubled striker to stay in England.

“Milan are convinced they will land Balotelli, who is a national hero in Italy after top-scoring at Euro 2012 when his country unexpectedly reached the final.”

Meanwhile, The Daily Star believes the Blues will be making moves of their own next month, starting with Arsenal striker Theo Walcott.

“City’s new sporting dIrector Txiki Begiristain is urging his club to make the striker, 23, a priority target” reports Paul Hetherington.

“Begiristain is said to have been an admirer of Walcott since he played for Arsenal against his previous club, Barcelona.

“And City could now make a cut-price offer for Walcott in next month’s transfer window – or try to sign him as a free agent in the summer.”

Elsewhere, The People propose the Blues will approach French side Saint-Etienne for highly rated central defender Kurt Zouma.

“City are ready to raid Saint-Etienne for powerful centrehalf Kurt Zouma as Kolo Toure's long-term replacement,” claims Alan Nixon.

“Roberto Mancini's spies, headed by Patrick Vieira, have sent back rave reviews on the 18-year-old, who despite his youth is playing every week for Les Verts.”

I trust that is enough to get you going for now and remember if there is any truth in the aforementioned rumours, or any others you may read, we will be first to let you know!
