A scintillating Euro 21012 final saw a goal and victory for David Silva but defeat and dejection for his City teammate Mario Balotelli.
The Sun leads with the headline of 'City at War' for a comparison of Silva and Balotelli on the night. Not surprisingly, the paper decides that the night belonged to the Spaniard but that "Balotelli still proved he is world class at Euro 2012".
The Telegraph reports on a visibily upset Mario Balotelli calling him a 'young man struggling to deal with disappointment'.
Italy manager Cesare Prandelli told the BBC that Mario will learn from his experience saying,
"I told Mario that these are experiences you have to deal with and have to accept. You also have to make sure this helps you going forward and you can grow from the experience.
The valuation of our Euro final players is the topic for discussion with David Silva reportedly being valued at £80million in the Mail, whilst The Sun says Mario Balotelli's agent reckons a £200million valuation is fair for the striker.
In transfer 'news', The London Evening Standard says a move for Arsenal's Robin Van Persie is now unlikely.
Adam Johnson is set for talks with Roberto Mancini following interest from Liverpool and Sunderland according to Goal.com.
