England could find Mario Balotelli hard to deal with when they face Italy in the quarter-finals of Euro 2012.
The Mirror suggests the City striker could cause problems for Roy Hodgson’s men if he starts for the Azzurri on Sunday.
“The predictably unpredictable star could be quarter-final handful,” reckons the paper’s David McDonnell.
Meanwhile, Blues star Samir Nasri has been speaking after France suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Sweden in their final group stage game and so ended up facing favourites Spain in the knock-out phase.
Laurent Blanc’s men never really showed up in Kyiv and were well beaten by an in-form Swedish side.
"Physically, they walked all over us. The coach told us after the game that we simply weren't good enough. We were bad up front, at the back and in midfield," admitted Nasri.
Elsewhere on a quiet day for City news, the Daily Star suggests that Dutch midfielder Nigel de Jong could leave the club before next season. The paper hints that the 27-year-old is uncertain about what lies ahead,
“I do not know about my future. My contract runs for another year – I’m in a good position,” the midfielder told them.
